Study on Debinding and Sintering Processes for Ceramics Fabricated Using Digital Light Processing (DLP) 3D Printing

Ceramics have excellent properties such as hardness and thermal chemical stability. Therefore, researchers studied the use of 3D printing to produce complex shapes in tools structural applications. The debinding sintering processes for ceramic composite materials manufactured using digital light processing (DLP) technology were studied. slurry used DLP requires sintering, it contains ceramics binders. measured by TG-DSC curves, changes material characteristics evaluated setting holding time (4, 5, 6 h) temperature (1100, 1200, 1300 °C) parameters. After h, density sintered at °C was 1.36 g/cm2; linear shrinkage 22.1%/21.6%/28.5% along x, y, z axes, respectively; bending strength 8.58 MPa. As a result this study, we developed an optimized process through process.
